Merry Christmas!

Christmas is in three days and we’re sure you have the turkey thawing for the big day. In the excitement of the holiday, it’s easy to lose sight of the Reason for the Season. For people every year, Christmas is marked with joy and sadness. We’ve lost loved ones and we’ve gained new members to our families.

The shopping is over, the tree is perfect and you are ready to receive your guests into your home. But maybe this year, something is missing. Maybe you’ve lost the joy you once had. Maybe you wish peace would come to your family this holiday season. One thing is certain, there is hope, there is joy, and there is peace available to all through Jesus Christ.

The season of Christmas offers an opportunity to experience the hope, joy, love and peace of God. It doesn’t have to be some mystical thing. God’s love and joy are offered to people living real life, in a real world where hope seems lost.

This Christmas, bring your family back to church. Allow them to experience the love of God in a unique and special way. He wants to give it to you, all you have to do is reach out and open it.

God’s gift to you can’t be bought, bartered or bargained. He gives to everyone who asks and believes. He loved us so much that he gave us Jesus, who was born in a lowly stable to a young girl. That little bundle of joy became the hope of the world. God’s desire is for us to recognize Jesus as the gift for eternal life. But our responsibility is to share that life with our families and loved ones this holiday season.

Will you help someone this Christmas experience the love of God in a new and fresh way? When you do, you’ll find that he truly is the Reason for the Season.

This Weekend:

Join us for an unforgettable Sunday as we finish The Gifts of Christmas series. We get to celebrate how Jesus’s birth changed everything and brings us hope, love, joy, and peace even today! If you’ve missed any part of this series, get caught up here.

We are excited about the Christmas season. We have so many great things happening at Life Church:

  • Christmas Eve Service: Experience the hope that God gave us through the birth of his son Jesus.  Join us at 4:30 pm for a time of music and a message by Pastor Dale Sisam.
  • Christmas Day Service: Nothing is more important than truly celebrating the reason for the season. Join us at 10:00 am on Christmas day for a service filled with music and joy as we celebrate the birth of our King.

Invite someone to Christmas!

We have made it really easy for you to invite someone to Christmas this year. We have a special Christmas page that explains everything you need to know this holiday season.

Also, we have special ecards for you to either email or share on social media. Find the one you want and share.

We know the holiday season can be stressful and forgetful. However, you may be unaware that we’ve made it incredibly easy to donate your year-end gifts to Life Church. Each gift is precious to the mission of Life Church and we care for each dollar that comes into our doors.

We are running about 2% under financially where we were last year. Will you help us get there?

Without your generosity and support, we will not be able to reach our community for Christ. We need your support to further the mission of Life Church and it’s goal of helping more people find true life in Jesus Christ.

We encourage you to give between now and December 31st and help us continue our mission so we can start 2017 strong. All gifts received between now and December 31 will be included for your donations this year, and you’ll receive a contribution statement detailing your gifts to Life Church in 2016.

All financial gifts are tax-deductible. Every gift counts and every gift you give makes a difference in someone’s life.

You ask; “How can I give?” Three ways.

  2. Text any dollar amount to 612-979-2282 (One-time credit card set-up).
  3. Mail a check to the church:

This year we donated to PROP around 300 + pounds of food. Each week our local Eden Prairie food shelf donates nearly 1,100 pounds of feed to families in need. PROP is always looking for donations. That’s why we’ve partnered with them and now have a food shelf basket, located in the foyer, for you to drop off any non-perishable products, please feel free. Let’s help support our local food shelf charity and see someone’s life changed.

Merry Christmas!

From all of us at Life Church, we want to wish you and yours a very merry Christmas. Take this season to be thankful for all that God has given you. Allow yourself to experience the love, joy, peace and hope that only Jesus can offer.

Please join us Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We would love to have you join us.

God bless and Merry Christmas.
